The Perinatal Sonographer Fellow performs diagnostic ultrasounds on obstetrical patients in the PTC and documents clinical findings. Our Perinatal Sonographers have the rewarding and exciting opportunity to help ensure that mothers and their unborn babies are healthy! You would operate high tech imaging equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasounds on obstetrical patients in the Perinatal Testing Center. You’ll prepare patients for procedures, maintain the equipment, as well as review images and test results and summarize your findings to our physicians for interpretation.

Position:

Perinatal Sonographer

Shift:

36 hours per week -day shift- Must be open to rotate work sites at Bryn Mawr Hospital, Lankenau Medical Center, Paoli Hospital, and Riddle Hospital.

Experience:

1. Minimum 1-year recent Ultrasonography experience.

2. Familiarity with ultrasound guided needle sampling, prenatal diagnostic, biophysical testing including doppler velocimetry.

Education:

1. Graduate from an approved program in Radiology Technology preferred or graduation from accredited school of Allied Health Field.

2. Completion of one year of formal training in Sonography

3. Successful completion of all orientation requirements.

Licensures/Certifications:

1. Nuchal Translucency certification in progress

2. Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

3. Abdominal and OB/GYN certification

Employee Status: Regular

Pay Range: $39.53 - $60.49
