The Behavioral Health Therapist II serves as a primary facilitator of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups within Mirmont Treatment Center's outpatient program. In addition to leading group therapy, this role assesses and treat patients via evaluation, individual, group, and family counseling. To provide psycho-educational lectures, crisis intervention, case management services, and treatment and discharge planning. Provide direct care to patients and families as appropriate to the age of the patient and complete associated indirect or documentation responsibilities. Will maintain timely documentation of services provided in accordance with licensure and MLH requirements.

Position:
Behavioral Health Therapist II
Shift:
Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm plus weekends and holidays as needed
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience at a Graduate-level supervised internship or practicum in a mental health setting and at least 2 years of post-graduate plus experience providing therapy to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
Education:
Master's or Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or Master's in Social Work
Licensures/Certifications:
Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) certification strongly preferred.
