Main Line Health is seeking candidates for its 2027 Administrative Fellowship, a 12-month, project-based leadership development experience for recent graduate students pursuing careers in health care administration.

    Program Overview

    The Administrative Fellowship Program is a 12-month, project-based leadership development experience for recent graduate students pursuing careers in health care administration. Fellows work closely with senior executives and operational leaders to support strategic initiatives across the system.

    Areas of exposure include:

  • System operations and corporate structure
  • Strategic planning and organizational growth
  • Quality and performance improvement
  • Finance and budgeting
  • Marketing and communications
  • Population health initiatives
  • Ambulatory and frontline operations
  • Patient experience and service excellence
  • Fellows serve as embedded partners on enterprise initiatives and gain visibility into executive decision-making and health system strategy.

    Fellows may:

  • Lead and support high-priority strategic and operational projects
  • Partner with executive leaders across hospitals, ambulatory services and corporate departments
  • Participate in executive, operational and board-level meetings
  • Gain exposure to governance and organizational strategy
  • Develop skills in communication, change management, analytics, financial stewardship and performance improvement
  • Build professional networks through mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • The fellowship is designed to provide both breadth and depth of experience in a fast-paced, collaborative health care environment.

  • Eligibility Requirements

    Applicants must have completed, or be in the process of completing, a master’s degree from an accredited U.S.-based institution in a health care or business-related discipline, including:

  • Master of Health Administration (MHA/MHSA)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Public Health (MPH)
  • Other related graduate degrees
  • Preferred candidates will have graduated from a CAHME-accredited program, though this is not required.

    Successful candidates demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Leadership potential and initiative
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
