Administrative Fellowship Program
The Main Line Health Administrative Fellowship is a 12-month, project-based leadership development program designed for recent graduate students pursuing careers in health care administration.
As part of a large, integrated community health system, fellows work closely with senior executives and operational leaders across Main Line Health to lead and support strategic initiatives that advance organizational priorities. The fellowship provides broad exposure to system-level operations while offering flexibility to tailor experiences based on professional interests, career goals, and organizational needs.

Fellows may gain exposure to areas including:
System operations and corporate structure
Strategic planning and organizational growth
Quality and performance improvement
Finance and budgeting
Marketing and communications
Population health initiatives
Ambulatory and frontline operations
Patient experience and service excellence
Fellows serve as embedded partners on enterprise initiatives while gaining visibility into executive decision-making and health system strategy.
Throughout the program, the fellows may:
Lead and contribute to high-priority strategic and operational projects
Partner with executive leaders across hospitals, ambulatory services and corporate departments
Gain exposure to health system governance, executive leadership and organizational strategy
Participate in senior leadership, operational and board-level meetings
Develop competencies in communication, change management, analytics, financial stewardship and performance improvement
Build professional networks through mentorship, professional associations and interdisciplinary collaboration
The fellowship is intentionally designed to provide both breadth and depth of experience while fostering leadership development in a fast-paced, collaborative health care environment.

Clinically Integrated Network Development – Assisted in developing operational policies and procedures for MLHC, Main Line Health’s clinically integrated network.
Ambulatory Surgery Center Transition – Coordinated planning, tracking and execution activities related to an ambulatory surgery center transition initiative
