In this role, you will perform tradesman level HVAC/R repair, maintenance, instillation, and inspection and assist with construction projects of Mechanical and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration systems and equipment. Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry duties as assigned.

Coordinate a variety of repair and maintenance duties with intermediate proficiency. Support Patients, Physicians, Visitors, External Agencies, Departmental Managers, Managers in other Departments, Employees within Department, Employees outside Department, and Vendors.

Position:

General Maintenance Mechanic II -- HVAC/R

Shift:

Monday-Friday (Days) with rotating weekend requirement

Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years recent experience as Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Mechanic required, preferably in a healthcare setting.

2. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform required job duties required.

3. Ability to accurately review and interpret blueprints and diagrams required.

Education:

1. Graduate of an accredited trade school in the Air Conditioning/Refrigeration field required OR minimum of five years’ experience in the Air Conditioning/Refrigeration field required.

Licensures/Certifications:

1. EPA Refrigerant Certification Type I and Type II required.

2. Formal HVAC/R Education and certification required.

3. Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with a clean driving record or licensure in another state required.
