Lead the action in the OR! This is a dynamic leadership opportunity where you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room. You would run the daily OR schedule to ensure cases are completed on time and efficiently. Coordinate patient flow by sending for patients and preparing rooms for upcoming cases. Hold the OR team accountable for turnover times and workflow standards. Support staff well-being by managing breaks and lunches. Set the next day’s OR schedule to keep operations seamless and organized. Respond to traumas and emergencies with confidence, ensuring patient safety and team readiness.

  • What this role requires! Multi-tasking skills to balance patient care, staff needs, and operational demands. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Quick decision-making to adapt to emergencies and shifting priorities. Strong organizational abilities to keep schedules, resources, and workflows aligned. An outgoing yet firm personality to lead the team with both approachability and authority. This position is central to keeping the Operating Room running smoothly and supports perioperative leadership.

    Position:

    Charge Registered Nurse/Specialty Team Coordinator

    Shift:

    Part-time, day/evening, 7:00am - 7:30pm. Alternating weeks of three 12's and two 12's.

    Experience:

    At least three (3) years of nursing experience in the Operating Room required.

    Education:

    1. RN Diploma, ASN required.

    2. BSN preferred.

    Licensures/Certifications:

    1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

    2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

    3. CNOR within 12 months.

    Pay Range: $48.53 - $75.71
