Main Line Health’s Nurse Residency Program is a year-long initiative designed to support and guide new graduate nurses as they begin their first professional role. The curriculum fosters critical thinking and helps new nurses use data-driven outcomes to enhance patient safety and care quality.

  • As a Nurse Resident in the Perioperative Fellowship Program, you will learn both the circulating and scrub role as you rotate through specialties including General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Plastics, Cardiac, Vascular, Bariatric, Trauma, Robotics, etc. You will build on basic skills as you follow didactic modules to match your weekly goals. Nurses will also attend in-services and staff meetings. At the end of the course, all participants must sit for the Periop 101 exam.
