Provides technical supervision of personnel assigned to perform ultrasound studies specific to radiology, echocardiography and/or vascular. Monitors workflow and all technical aspects of an ultrasound area to ensure smooth daily workflows. Monitors equipment issues, supplies and participates in Quality Improvement Plan. Is competent to perform ultrasound studies pertinent to lead role (radiology, echo, or vascular) to patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Experience:

1. Three years experience as staff ultrasound Technologist preferred.

2. Five years experience as staff Cardiac Echo Sonographer preferred for Lead Sonographer in Cardiology

3. Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience preferred

Education:

Graduate of accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent required

Licensures/Certifications:

1. Certification by the ARDMS, CCI, or equivalent required.

2. IV certification if applicable

3. BLS certification by American Heart Association if applicable

Employee Status: Regular

Pay Range: $39.53 - $60.49
